Etude Bersier

Biography

Maître Marcel Bersier was born in Geneva, where, after his law degree (University of Geneva, 1979), he got the bar exam in April 1982. He practices law as independent lawyer since 1993.

Me Bersier is the first Swiss lawyer to have obtained a degree in bioethics from the Faculty of Bioethics at the Pontifical University Vatican Ateneo Apostolorum in Rome.

Me Bersier is a member of the Geneva Bar Association, the Swiss Bar Association, and numerous national and international associations active in tax law, business law, etc.. He participated in several panels as speaker in Switzerland and abroad.

His main practice areas are tax law, commercial law, corporate law, contract law, inheritance law, property law, labour law and bioethics.

Me Bersier is the author of various publications in the field of labour law and is the editor of a Handbook of labour law from an international publisher with headquarters in Zurich.

Me Bersier is fluent in French, English, German and Italian.
